Karimadon and Me

Being able to work in the campaign for one of the longest running ready-to-wear fashion house in our country is a huge blessing for me. Now on my second year with them, Karimadon is officially launching supermodel extraordinaire, Ms. Jessica Yang, as their their official brand ambassador.

Our whole day shoot at The Penthouse Studio in Makati City went on smoothly and without a hitch. When you have seasoned professional photographer Dix Perez at the helm, you know that the brand means business and that the end-resut will be nothing less than what you've hoped the output would be.

Ms. Rona Resngit was the designated hairstylist for the shoot.

Karimadon's head designer and merchandiser, Ms. Embi V. Nicolas, is slowly steering this exemplary brand to the now and the relevant. Since the company began way back in 1980 at the able hands of its owner Ms. Josie Go, i have always considered it to be the go-to brand for formal and semi-formal clothes for women who do not have the time to go to a seamstress or designer and have their dresses custom-made. Their classic and feminine designs, combined with affordable prices sustained them throughout the years. Fast forward to 2016 and Karimadon will now be an even stronger brand with its young and trendy collection that include neoprenes and beautiful laces which can be worn from day to night.

As instructed, the look for Jessica leaned towards high-fashion hair and makeup, with dewey skin, strong brows, and dark lips, and slick back hair to compliment the over-all look. I used Make Up Forever's Ultra HD Liquid Foundation on her and slightly contoured her face with MAC Matte Bronze. For the highlight, i placed MAC Prep + Prime Light Boost and MAC Lightscapade. Having just purchased an entire set of Colourpop Ultrasatin Liquid Lipsticks during my last trip to L.A., I excitedly applied the shade Prim on her lips to give Jessica's face that pop of color.
