My Passion, My Calling

My job is never easy. On most days, I have to deal with a lot of stuff that regular nine-to-five employees might not experience in their work --- hauling heavy train cases, standing for hours on end, not getting to eat on time, long working hours, and lots of waiting time. Yes, i mean lots. So if you think that this is a glamorous job, let me tell you now that it's not. Like anything else worth having, it takes a lot of time and hard work. Oh, and did I tell about difficult clients who think you're their hired personal assistant? Or that bridezilla who inherited all the drama on earth? How about that gorgeous model who just can't keep still? The list can go on and on. But why do i do it? Why am i still here, grinding and waking up in the wee hours of the morning to meet that early call time?

It's simple...

I've made some awesome friends who share the same passion ...

I get to put makeup on my dearest of dear friends who truly believes in me...

I get to work on beautiful brides like her who trust me with their look as if their life depended on it...

I get to meet and work with some of the world's greatest talents...

And most of all, i get to be inspired by people i really look up to in this industry.

So you see, no matter how stressful this job is, if it makes me happy, then i will get up, haul those train cases, and work, work, work, while I still can. Not everyone have survived and boy am I glad and thankful that I am still in the game.
